Highlights

Acktar is a world leader in black optical coatings.
 Now available, black coatings with extremely high light absorptance for 
 optics, electronics and space applications.  

A new large-scale roll coater has been installed and comissioned at Acktar's facility in Kiryat Gat. The machine was designed by Acktar and its configuration is optimized to suit Acktar's coating technologies. The new  machine will allow the large-scale single sided or double sided coating of roll material. 
 
Acktar R&D department has completed the development of a new coating only 3 microns thick with absorptance above 95% over the entire range from the UV to the far IR.
